I've been saving for my valver since passing my test about 4-5 months ago, gettin close to 700 now.
But i also have another account i used to put money in when i had nothing else to spend it on and didnt wanna waste it i would just put some in there.
But that was at my old job when i was earning nearly 18grand a yr! At 19, i was running outta things to buy as i didnt have a car etc then.
Since starting my office job (dec 04) i havent bothered puttin any in because i havent had the money to just put away,
So time went on and i forgot about my other account, and i was remembered by my dear old mom y'day that i had it but only thought i'd have about 200 in there cuz ive never got a statement or balance from it, went to the online bankin today and i have got just shy of 2000quid in there!!
So, im clockin onto 3k now, thats willy buying money!

But im gonna have to get a valver cuz of insurance reasons, but i cant until i get 1yrs NCB and now i know i have this it is burning a hole in my pocket!!!! :x but least now if i keep saving i shud have enuf for the best valver ever and keep the rest put away and start saving for my williams! :D

Or just buy mine and SORN it until you can afford it. Got a few little jobs that need doing, but you'll have the time to do them while you get your NCB :D

cant dude. When i owned my 1.4 rt with no license all i wanted to do was get in it and drive it.
I'll be like that with that one and with a license now i know i will give in and drive it and get caught.

i know its a bitch havin it sittin there but it will also highten the thrill coz when u finaly come to gettin the insurance it will be there for u to jump straight in and give it a good thrash over to see me!!!

also u can start doin what ever u wanna do with it now :wink:

Hang the insurance, become a named driver on your folks policy get yourself a williams, valvers are nice williams are best :wink: ,

i can just about afford the insurance for the valver with struggling. No chance for a williams! just over 3500 TPFT for a williams :?

id just buy a valver if insurance was an issue... williams are very expensive for insurance purposes and if u dont have much driving exp or no claims bonus's u may as well forget it....... it will just get too unreasonable on a quote. i think if i was in ur position i would buy a mint valver (std) or a hybrid. i like reno 5's but can be very expensive to maintain due to the head going.... i dont really think that a reno 5 would be very good as a track car as the constant excessive heating and cooling would only add pressure to the head. if i did buy one the first thing i would do would be to get an uprated head/bolts and gasgets.
