View Full Version : I'm considering a Williams

I'm looking at the following Williams for sale and really just looking for general advice.

I drove GTis as a lad and almost bought a Williams back in the day.

For me it would be a fun investment. 205 GTis now 20k+. One sold a few weeks back at auction for 38k!

Can anybody advise where to get Classic Insurance?

This one looks like a good low mileage example. Are there many around with less miles?

Many thanks

Aldo

Hello there welcome to the league of rusting blue cars.

My one piece of advice to you is to ONLY buy on condition and take mileages with a pinch of salt. If you look at the MOT history of this car some items seem to crop up year on year on advisories.

Thanks Ayli.
Are you talking about the mots on this specific car having advisories or just in general.

This one seems familiar but it isn't in the register...looks like the rear quarter stickers are repro items which if they are would indicate rear archs have been done.

Very difficult to tell from the pics.... but its been photographed in a manner to be flattering.

Specific car - you can check any car's history back to 2005 on https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history
