Nothing to Exciting people but thought i'd share todays progress...

Took apart some of the engine today, gave it it's annual clean and polish, went a bit crazy and polished and laquered the rocker cover, polished manifold, and sprayed up the mount cover, spark plug cover and hose cover above manifold graphite grey...

Can't really see much change from pics lol...but it took me bloody hours and all the bits are shiny now (take my word for it!!!)

Few pics of rocker cover, can't really see how shiny it is but you can see the laquers keyed well to it. The mole grips are reflecting in the second pic down though

I haven't called it its "real" name for years. Only go to the local one for paint as they have a wall of it and it suprisingly matches well to what you use it for...apart from that the staff are crap and wouldn't no a magic tree if it smacked them round the face, never mind an exhaust system or steering wheel boss etc

Yep should be fine mines all sprayed silver, the inlet manifold has not started flaking at all but the exhaust manifold has started to flake but still look goods and worth doing to cover the rusty brown look

Think you need a new coolant bottle to freshen it up that one looks browner than a brown thing!
