Totted up 18 months worth of receipts last night.

Bearing in mind c£1400 was crash damage and another c£800 was stuff that's not essential but done for peace of mind or for the sake of it, and also 3 lots of tyre changes:

Purchase price: £1400

Total spent: £3830.26

ive got all my expenses on a spread sheet (being an accountant and all) and to be honest, sometimes it really is better if u just dont look at that sort of thing

I don't think that that's all that bad mate. Take away the crash repairs and purchase price and you've only spent £1,030. Divide that by 18 months and that's only £57 a month.

My monthly average is £161 including tax (but not petrol and insurance) :?

I worked out that roughly £1500 was essential work. Still under £100 a month.

Oh I see, I thought that total included the purchase price. Slightly worse then!

Still, if you'd bought a brand new 182 on HPI, you'd have spent a hell of a lot more on interest and lost a hell of a lot more on depreciation. :D

True. I reckon I could get more than £1500 for it.
