I need to find a rear brake compensator / brake bias valve / load sensitive pressure regulating valve. All the same thing just many names.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Have tried various sites / garages but no joy.

Thanks in advance

I have one that I bought as a spare when I saw it on the internet, the "throw" on the valve is slightly longer than the one on the Williams, but its exactly the same in all other aspects. I considered that the link section which goes to the axle would need to be adjusted accordingly.
I'll get some images up later for you to review.

That would be great thanks.

Do you think I could take the parts off the one I have to shorten the throw on yours and make it work?

Cheers

I'm no expert on the brake balance, but the difference is very slight, I'm pretty sure that it would do the job. There maybe someone else on the forum with more knowledge than me. Dimensionally both compensators are the same, I have tried to show in the images where the numbers on the inlet/outlet ports are different. The one that I fitted to my car has the same numbers as the one that came off the car.
The one with the link section is the one that I have fitted to my car, the other (gold one) is the spare, I hope that this helps

Have you looked to see if you can have yours refurbished?
