Hi Guys, just bought a Clio 1.8 16v that's been sat for 10 years :O. Just in the process of trying to make sure it'll run etc :). Already had to remove a horrendously installed toad alarm. I am after buying a roll cage or having one made up, has anybody had any experiences with good/ bad companies for roll cage installation?

Anyone know if a phase 2 16v fuel pump will fit into a phase 1? Once removed from the sender unit as on a phase one they're separate but a phase 2 they're together?

depends how early the car is. Early phase 1 had separate sender and pump, later phase 1.5 (k-l plates) had all in one like the phase 2

best bet is to confirm which you have first before seeing what you need to replace imo

It's a early phase 1 with a separate pump and sender but once the pump is removed from the sender cradle from the phase 2 will it fit in the phase 1?

I'm gonna go with no on the basis that the seals are not the same size, I think the ph2 pump is bigger than the hole in the ph1 tank
