I know it seems to be a nightmare getting the correct gold paint colour - has anyone got a source where the correct paint can be bought from? Got my wheels (and car) back in Poland and very much doubt I'll be able to get the correct match there, so looking to buy some paint in UK and have it sent over. Would appreciate any leads, thanks.

That's great, thanks! You wouldn't have had experience with that paint code perhaps? Strangely when I googled it I only get French forums discussing it. 7E81208 seems prevalent in the English forums for some reason - any idea of how they compare?

Sounds like you have the right code there mate... I attached the thread from Clio sport forum.

I did some digging on this a while ago:

the paint code Speedline used is: Akzo Nobel 7E 81208, Akzo Nobel is the paint manufacturer.

this is the same colour used on Subaru Impreza WRX models that had gold Speedline wheels in the mid 90's.

most paint manufacturers will have an equivalent code, try your local paint factor, they should be able to mix it up for you, probably do it in an aerosol too?

Thanks for all the replies. Going through various forums I've gathered the below codes - which only complicates things. Would the various codes, from various companies, result in the same, correct colour? :???:

Going to have to send a few emails out it seems. Also found Pristine referenced across the forums as having done a good job with Williams wheels on several occasions. Thanks all.
