W3 has decent wheels but I don't think the last or previous owners refurb gave them the right gold colour back. Can anyone recommend a good refurb place in NE London area that can refurb to original colour and diamond cut the rim?

ive tried looking around the south for refurbishers and the only ones who seem keen and that id trust on doing it after i was pedantic on the phone to them they need to be right were pristine (above) and Lepsons in Gillinham i think.. http://www.lepsons.com
there's more than likely companies that will give it a go, but after seeing results from pristine from previous threads on here and hearing nothing but good things about lepsons (from a few sources including a rollys royce bespoke sprayer), it will be one of these that will do mine next month..

Thanks for that Vandella
It's one of this things you want to do once and get it right first time
But seeing that the wheels aren't the right colour at the moment means somebody is now than capable at getting it wrong

Recently I had the wheels on my W3 done. Armed with the correct paint code I chatted at length with the wheel company, I opted out with the original paint code as I have seen some really bad colours too. I didn't want to take a gamble and they turn out really dark or bronze. I was shown a few golds that they had in tins and chose Speedline Gold with diamond cut. Turns out they are mega and cannot fault them apart from they are a really bright light gold. Happy but there not the right colour. Im miles away from pristine but next time I'll be going there after reading comments about them.

I have an original williams wheel thats never been refurbished so if you ever do them again I'd be happy to meet up and see if your wheel refurbers could use it as a colour match.

Isn't the colour code the same as the subaru gold wheel colour!

I hear it is.

According to Chipex the gold is 2143M if that means anything to anyone... I accidentally ordered it but I have yet to test it, might try this weekend if the weather is dry.
