I need to remove the tank for a small plate to be welded on. I can see the bolts to remove no probs, but is there anything I should/need to be aware of when attempting this?

Cheers

We had to chop the bolts on mine.

They were rusted on near enough.

I have to say it was December last year when I removed the auxilary tank from my car and I certainly dont remember it being difficult.
when you look at it, its pretty obvious what needs to come off.
Having said that, taking things apart is always the easy bit......reassembly.....well thats another matter

Yeah tbh Phil, it's looks pretty much straight forward, but it's not unusual for me to be caught out by that bit of unexpected ness,
its not often a job goes ok without an issue for me.
