Shop around for the clutch, Sachs, LUK or Valeo, iirc all 3 different types use the same Valeo friction plate and if you can handle the upgrade get a volvo 480 turbo clutch, same valeo friction plate but stronger pressure plate, an LUK 1 on ebay or from euro car parts is about £40
As for the cam belt, look for mister-auto on ebay, think they're about £56 delivered. For some reason their ebay shop is cheaper than the actual website
cant find that seller??? can you link to shop paddy?

When you say handle the upgrade for the Volvo clutch, in what way?? Does it feel alot different? Or is it harder to fit?

It has a stiffer spring in the pressure plate which means stronger clamping force but the trade off will be a stiffer pedal

The engine in the 480 turbo is a Renault engine, same F series block as from the Clio RSi, same flywheel as the valver & williams etc, quite common to find that engine in a mk1 Clio as it's a very simple fit & conversion.
Also common to see F7 engines transplanted into the older rwd volvos as they use the same bolt patterns for the gearboxes :winkey:

Interesting... So is that where people source turbo conversions etc?
At least I'm glad I have a Clio and not something with the same aerodynamic properties of a slice of brie

Not quite, people either go with the volvo engine, R5 GTT engine or convert the F7 with F7 specific turbo bits for turbo conversions
Gates cambelt kit and valeo clutch ordered up for £148 delivered. Cheers for the help degrease of engine and engine bay when the engine is out
