Sensor beside oil filter

Does anybody knows what kind as sensor that is mounted in the engine block besides the oil filter?

Hi Ronald,
I hope that someone will confirm what I am saying, as far as I understand the switch next to the oil filter is the oil presure switch, which is connected to your low oil pressure light on the dash.
The sensor operating the oil pressure gauge is on the exhaust manifold side of the engine under a heat shield.
