I recently noticed that the wing mirrors on my Willams were the incorrect phase 2 versions as opposed to the phase 1 which it should have had on.
I have managed to source some replacements and have just fitted them without any dramas.
However, the external temperature is now showing +50 degrees with the sensor that came with the new mirrors.
It was working fine with the old one.
I had a nightmare getting the glass out of the phase 2 mirror to locate the screw which secure the sensor to swap it round however I can't get it through the mirror housing due to the plug at one end and the sensor on the other.
Anyone managed to swap a temperature sensor from one mirror to the other and any tips on what to do please?
