I've had a nightmare trying top source the trip clips that go inside the bump strips of the Williams and Valver (7700036119).

The Phase one clips that went into the strips of the normal models are readily available, but don't fit the Williams/Valver ones.

I managed to source some of the later version of 7700036119, but they have the adhesive tape instead of being 'clip on'. These are pants, as the bump strip gets destroyed when you try and remove it from the door.

I therefore set about trying to come up with an alternative, and after lots of trial and error, I managed to succeed.

The one on the left is the readily available clip, the middle is my modified version of this clip, the one on the right is an original.

My modified clip fits perfectly and lines up identically. All you need is a Dremel with a fine cutting disk and a steady hand!

Renault don't do either, but the larger ones are available as pattern parts; the Williams/Valver ones aren't.

can you show us what you cut off and what a new unmodified one looks like?

The available clips are the one on the left of my photo.

There's more to it than it appears on the pic, so I'll have to do a video of the process.
