Rude phone helpline [Archive]

Bit miffed. Just called the UK bank's (Ha**f*x :)) phone helpline to check on my account. The guy was rude and kept saying I was wrong about my details. I had to explain to him 2 to 3 times (he's sounded irish though) and he still did not come down from his attitude. If this the general standard of helpline service in UK; Outsource companies in India would be more than happy to take away those jobs. It's probably just as useless but more courteous about it.

get him reported.....they record all calls and its the only way to put him right.

Yeah, my wife told me to do that too. But I figured better for my blood pressure if I forget it sooner. Anyway, ranted here, so I feel better now :D

call centres are now either geordi, irish or indian... i called the halifax expecting compo at the end of the line.. when i got gerry adams i was disheartened
