hi again,

so i have a 1992 clio 1.8 16v mk1 and need to order some new discs for it however, how do i check or can you guys tell me what type of rear discs i need, the options are;

i trying to find the owners hand book and ill check the haynes manual later but any help will be greatly appreciated.

Does your car have abs? If not, it doesn't matter which discs you get. I'm not 100% sure but I think it was only cars from 1993 onwards that had the option of abs & later 1995 onwards cars had it as standard

But more than anything ignore that aftermarket shite, it's all pointless gimmicky crap & I'd bet they don't even come with bearings, in short they're a rip off. The rear brakes do vey little work and under heavy braking the bias valve on the rear beam actually lets the rears off to stop them locking up

Do you know anything about the oil temp sensor? Does the oil pressure gauge and the temperature gauge us the same sensor?

I know that I don't know exactly :lol:

I do know that the 3 dials work from only 2 sensors & that the temperature part is shared with 1 of them. Now I've always assumed it's the level sensor that is also for the temperature as it's got more wires coming from it & the pressure sensor on the back of the engine only has 1 wire but I've heard conflicting things so can't be 100% sure
