View Full Version : How not to remove "Williams" sill stickers

Needed to remove the sill stickers on the car today, prior to bodywork resto start.
I had a foolproof plan to gently heat up the stickers, carefully remove them and store them on greasproof paper prior to being put back on the car after paintwork.......
It didnt work! :-k
The sticker just stretched as I took it off and when it cooled down it looked like you see below.
If anyone has any tips on how to remove the other side in a reuseable condition, I'm all ears

Try using a thin cotton and heat gun and work th cotton under the sticker rather than pull the sticker itself
