Thankfully its warm enough today to have a 'play' with my CW3. So, after jakcing it up this is what I found. Mostly not too bad, I think. Thoughts/costs to sort?

The rear arch needs doing bvut the inner one looks ok from what I can see. I sepnt an hour cleaning half a bloody field out of the rear aches today. Frustrating how people can neglect such a classic! So, I think, near OS rear arch, probably OS sill and not sure but some work on NS sill. How much am I looking at roughly?

Hi Frimley, I'm not going to try to answer your question here as to how much it will cost to put your car right, as it depends where you go and how through a job they do. The other aspect which makes an estimate difficult is how far corrosion has gone from what you can see. If your outer sills are corroded its possible the it could have spead to the inner sills - I'm not saying that it "will have" just that it might.
What I would suggest, is that whilst you are looking at putting your car right, you get underneath it as remove any of the pvc protection on the car that looks like it could be hiding corrosion. For example, the pvc on the underside of your car, where the front jacking point meets the floor pan has staining on it, its likely that some corrosion has got behind this. You are best to remove this back to sound material and have this seen to whilst you are doing the other bits.
The pvc protection is a bugger for hiding corrosion, as unless its hanging off it tends to look OK, but staining around any seams or joins will need to be investigated.
I'm in the middle of sorting mine out now, good luck with yours :-)
