You should be using the rear seat belt mounting point not the ones in the picture...

Those studs are for holding the seat in place. I normally secure my harness' to the rear centre seat belt mounting points.

hmmm didn't know that... they seem pretty secure there. got rid of the stud for a hook on one of them... bet of a bosh job really though as the harnesses aren't a pair:

LOL at above....!

Always use rear seat belt mountings to mount harnesses. They are built to withstand big pressure in the event of a crash

There are plenty of mounts on a vehicle that are strong enough, but you should ideally be looking at a near horizontal mounting from the mount to where it goes through the seat. At most, around 20 degress off horizontal.

Using mounting points on the floor can be extremely dangerous and in a high impact crash can cause your spine to bend, which at worst can paralyse or even kill you.

The pic below shows the correct angle for harnesses to be mounted. Obviously if you dont have a cage fitted, then use the upper rear seat belt mounts or fabricate a bar to fit the harnesses to.

id advise top get a harness bar made up, having them on the floor is dangerous as said above, but the rear upper points are crumple zones so not really ideal to! cazge or a harness bar ! yes i have mine on the floor now but am sorting a harness bar out!

Devil (the ones with the exhausts) makes a rear strutbrace in steel - all prepared for mounting your seat belts.
Unfortunately I have no pictures.

This is the simplest way of doing it without having to install a full cage.

As Mark mentioned earlier there is a serious risk.
The angle of the seatbelt can break even the strongest seat in case of an accident.
