Parcel shelf cord length

This is an odd request but could someone please check the length of the parcel shelf cords? Ideally W1 if possible

Bought some of the cord clips that go onto the tailgate, but when I close it the loose cords try to escape out of the back!

yeah they do that.. just poor design..

Best to leave the cords off.
What tends to happen is when opening the boot the pressure from the cord pulling on the corners of the parcel shelf will eventually bend the shelf out of shape.
I even went as far as taking the suit carrier off to relieve some pressure on it.
