Help!
I have bought a Mk1 RSi for the girlfriend for Christmas to accompany my Williams 1 but it is cutting out on cold mornings. Once the engine comes up to temperature there is no issue and the car runs fine is it a thermostat on the radiator that is the likely culprit? I had the same problem on my Williams a few years back and after taking the engine out, stripping it down and rebuilding (the engineer at work not me!) we realised that the reason was a simple thermostat on the radiator. Any assistance appreciated as otherwise the car is mint, it has only covered 85k with two previous owners from new so would like to keep it for a while!
