How much oil to gearbox?

How much do you put oil to gearbox?

Haynes book says 2.9 liters. And somewhere they say to put 4.5 liters.

it should say 3.4 in Haynes... it'll be somewhere in between your 2.9 and 4.5 litres(quick search shows 3.5 litres in a couple of different threads).. you can fill it by the plug on the gearbox.. using a funnel or tube that will fit, fill it slooooooooowly, then when it starts coming back out of that hole, then u have enough..
