full of brown shit....

any tips for getting it off??? had it soaking in water/soap for ages, didnt really shift it... now trying white spirits, seems to be doing the job

anyone else bothered with there's?

if its like 10quid for a new one i wont bother, anyone know how much a new one is?

im scrubbing with white spirits/tooth brush at the moment and its working quite well.

Or you can use a small chain (bic or so) insteed.
Me thinks, that you can get one from Valeo or sth for 10ish


The thing is that no matter how well you clean it,
it'll brown again in 2-3 weeks :evil:
It's because the engine bloke gives away some kind of rust to the whole sircuit.
The only way I know to get rid of that,
is to change your coolant liquid every 3-4 weeks
until it stops becoming brownish

The last time I changed the coolant I flushed all the engine block & radiator out with a hosepipe. The coolant bottle is still as clear as when I first cleaned it.

cleaned mine up... used white spirits and stones method... worked well... except there is still some brown shit at the bottom and the very top where it cant be got to !

think i might just buy a new one sometime if they're cheap.
