Hi, welcome to the forum!

Thanks for posting your pictures - great to hear about a Williams in the Czech Republic. Do you have any other pictures of the car, or know of any other Wiliiams that exist in your country?

Thanks,
Dave.

did you ask about the side strips for your car? is it because one side has the silver insert?

you can buy tape from Renault to go over the silver strip to convert it to black.. £30+ from Renault.

i have a whole unused roll, i could sell you.

it just tapes over the top.. give them a good clean up and remove any grease off the strip, then apply the tape

You have to be a member to see the below link, but if you are, then there is a mention of it in this project thread.

Yes that is correct... from new the Williams had their own manufactured side strips but these were not offered as a replacement part... to get a replacement you had to buy a 16V strip and convert it with tape.

Very annoying I know but unfortunately thats Renault for you...

Cheers Ian:)

Hi Sova...did you not buy the tape from Vandella?

I'm not sure whether that is the right tape as it says Blue on it and the roll looks to large... the one Vandella had would have been correct.

Regards Ian
