How do I sort this? Presumably with new trims?

I managed to buy some decent used trims but they cost me over £800

They were hardly £800 Mr Paddy ;-)

But yes, as said you will need to look for a 2nd had set.

if they aren't curled too badly imo just tiger seal them in to hold them flat

I got a new one 3 months ago from Renault :-)

Only one side was available though so I would give a dealer a try.

Take them off rub down primer, paint and use some sikaflex :)

I think I will try that, the challenge with any type of adhesive it holding the trim down long enough for it to cure/set.

Use some masking tape mate

I will give it a go but it needs to be very sticky to hold the edges down.

Thought - a glue gun may do it as it dries very quickly.

You can still get replacement roof trim clips, they sorted mine out a treat

Is that why they are lifting? I didn't spot anything underneath the trim.

Yeah there are plastic clips that fix under the trim and then clip onto the small lumps in the recess, here are the ones i used: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/251418522868?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108&ff19=0

Right, thanks. So would mine just have broken or would the strips simply have come unclipped?

Mine had become brittle over time so weren't holding for long, they may have just come unclipped over time but after a few pushes back down they deform and dont hold the trim down.

What I found is by removing the strips they tend to bend. If they bend ever so slightly they wont go back down very well even with new clips.
As a suggestion you might get some spare clips, and note the areas where the strip is raised up. Usually this is between clips.
Then tack the spare clips onto the roof in those areas using whichever adhesive you know will bond the plastic clips to the roof gulley. Refit strips and that should keep those suckers down.

If you wait a bit till cooler weather, the seals do not expand so much. You can take them off I think and put them in the freezer then lock them down so they retain their shape for longer when sealing down again.

Ah sorry I thought you meant the windscreen ones.
