Hi all. First post here, so bear with me!
I have a 1992 Clio Hybrid (martin's blue one) and am thinkin of fitting a s/s manifold and decat (as the standard decat is mild steel and rusted badly!) I know the whole s/s manifold topic has been discussed rigoriously on many clio forums, with many people saying that the standard valver manifold is just about the best thing to run, even on a F7R engine! Why is this? Also could i buy a valver s/s manifold for my 2.0l and see even better performance gains than buying a 2.0l s/s manifold?
Am i also correct in assuming that the only difference between williams and valver exhaust systems is the manifold (smaller bore on the valver so more torque yeah??) and downpipe. The centre section back is identical?
One last thing - what is the date for when cat converters are a mandatory requirement?
Many thanks,
