sorry if this has been answered before but couldn't find an answer in the search,

anyway i am just putting my car back on the road after 5 years (due too being resprayed , yes 5 years for a spray and its sh......t, but that another story )

back to my question... i need to give it a good service and would like to know what would be the best upgrade for a standard engine... plugs, leads , dizzycap, oil and filter etc

thanks in advance gareth

Standard stuff is all you need & just make sure the oil is semi-synthetic

is semi-synthetic the best all rounder as some people recomend fully synthetic, not too clued up on oil appart from old school 'castrol R'

Id go for a champion f136 oil filter if you can find one. Its the nearest thing to the original ones used.
