Hi chaps,

Done extensive researching on here to try and ascertain what causes my W3 to intermittantly idle like in the video below. It only does it occasionally and then returns to normal (900 rpm) for a while then returns to this.

I've cleaned the ICV and checked for air leaks and found none. I intend on replacing the ignition coil, plugs, rotor arm and distributor cap at the weekend in the hope that this remedies it. I've already fitted new Bosch plug leads. Does anyone else have any suggestions on what may be the problem?

Pure guessing here but I'm thinking TPS at fault but I'd also try & get an ICV from a car that's known to be 100% working fine to try & rule it out

I had a similar problem when the inlet manifold gasket had be incorrectly fitted by a cowboy! Try spraying wd40 when the engine is running around the head/inlet joint to see if the rev picks up?
