Cheers to Mark for organising today...had a great time. And thanks to his mate (sorry, forgot name) for standing around timing us all day!

I now need two new tyres and, as I discovered on the way home, a wheel bearing as well  . Was well worth it though :P

Oh, and I'm not usually one for making excuses, but quite blatantly the only reason anyone beat me today was because of my lop-sided ride height problems. Clearly that was why. I mean, what else could it be......

Just a quickie to say thanks for everyone who came along and made it a great day. My brother-in-law has 40mins of dvd footage which will be available for everyone for a few quid.

We also have loads of awesome action pics with the cars cutting corners and kicking up dirt and stones in true rally car style. I am currently on a friends computer and will be back tomorrow (Tuesday) morning and get the full results up and all the pics we have.

I really was surprised just how close the results were, with less than a second covering the first half dozen cars.

We will definitely arrange another day there soon and next time I WILL WIN.

Even if it means I have to fix the results.

dont make a differance in mine....they stop when they feel like it....better with the ABS off.

Swervin_Mervin
30-08-2005, 13:51
ABS off made a huge difference. Would have been intrigued by Summeh's brakes as I was running std discs and DS2500 pads and found that a short sharp stamp on the pedal was scrubbing off shedloads of speed.
