had these done at fancy plates.com very happy with them. A bit of a self design as I couldn't find an original example of Radbournes dealer plates but I'm happy. I copied the text from the PDI stamp in the service book, and specified pre-2001 font and bingo!

Ah I never knew that fancyplates could do pre-2001 font! I got these done elsewhere (company now not in business though)

Cheers.

I like the Renault badge on these ones, shame their no longer in business.

Like the standard stickers too, I've ordered an elf one from Northy. Is the dealer sticker original?

Thanks.

the Elf sticker is one of Northy's, and the dealer sticker was made by the same people that made the plate. Although I am sure that Northy mentioned once that he could make a dealer sticker. I managed to get this one from eBay, if it's any help to you (ps the Renault font is downloadable online for free. It's called 'Renault Bold')

I'd love to get my plates done with the original dealer on them.

without wanting to sound too anal, if you wanted true "period" originality shouldn't the phone numbers start "0452" rather than "01452"??? Love the plates and stickers though... really really nice!

in 1995?? When was the change over from say "0452" to "01452"?

The 1 prefix was added in April 1995 so they're correct as its am N reg which was August 95 to 31st July 1996

Both my Williams are from RADBOURNE Racing and I still have the original plates. My Williams 3 has 0181 phone number so yours is fine m8. I can get a pic if you want to see what they look like.

So for pure originality a Williams 1 or 2 would be a "0" number... a Williy 3 would be an "01".... nice!

Scrap that, seen latest threads! So my home brew effort is way off the mark lol! No border, a phone number and no renault logo. Oops! At least I'm 150 miles away from Wimbledon so nobody will notice.

Very nice lads! A fresh number plate does wonders for the look of the car I think :)

Just for future information. I have just received a plate from www.platesforcars.co.uk (http://www.platesforcars.co.uk) that I designed on their website. I'm really pleased with the quality and original look of the plate I thought I would share. My front original front plate was damaged but I have replicated and this is the result. http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b39/afrank/rad_zpsb8fde126.jpg (http://s16.photobucket.com/user/afrank/media/rad_zpsb8fde126.jpg.html) The font is VERDANA
