map sensor wire

just looking around today and spotted an orange wire coming form the map sensor.

i assume that normally this would run towards the top corner and feed out behind the bulkhead??

for some reason mine has been cut and bridged in with cables that run directly down underneath the car?

any ideas.

ill get a snap in a sec...

could really do with a reply on this one or a pic of someones map sensor, just looks to me like orange should go direct to orange not off somewhere else
