The wing mirror on my Williams had taken a bit of a bash before and there was a gauge out the plastic lip so I wanted to replace it.
I picked up a new electric wing mirror for £15 on ebay but when I went to fit it earlier I noticed that it didn't fold in like the williams wing mirror it just springs back, also the base plate has a few minor scratches that can be seen in the light, Im wondering if I could use the main body part and swap it on to the williams base plate which is in the same condition as the one on the passenger side of my car!
It looks like if the springs were unclipped this would come apart, I could just use this mirror but want a folding one ideally as that's what should be on!
so far not had much luck with parts on ebay, all just been ripped from the car and arrived it un usable condition, doesn't matter with things that can/will be painted but would like the trims to be reasonable!
