Clio Williams Show Plates

After seeing Yanoo's photo (below) at a car show with a show plate on, I have started enquiring about having some made up (enough for 10 sets front and back at a cost of about £30 delivered for those interested).

Once I have OK'd the final artwork I'll let you guys know, in case some of you want a set. By the way I don't suppose any of you have a vector file of the Williams logo?

iiiiiiiiiiiin one Northy! I've given him the link to download the Renault MN Bold font and I am currently trying to get the Williams vector (but struggling!)

Hi. There can only be one design, as opposed to individual designs for each plaque number.

Also, there are no brackets provided (as these were going to be £10 each!) so you would have to find your own way of attaching them to your plates. I didn't see this being a problem and to save money, declined to have them included in the quote.

As soon as I get postage costs I can work out a price. Seems like they may be slightly more than I originally quoted as there was delivery and VAT to be added

Also just to let you lot know that I am only selling these to cover my costs, not for profit.

Hermes have worked out the cheapest and all in, they are available for £45 delivered per pair. This might sound expensive for what they are, but I am barely covering costs. They are excellent quality, not flimsy and will last years. It is highly unlikely that these will ever be available again.

For the photos, I used masking tape looped over itself so as to not damage the plate itself which seemed to hold them very well.

They are just stuck over the top of the reg plates temporarily with masking tape for the photos. Im going to use them to cover up my reg plates for trackdays and sprints/hillclimbs. You can get some double sided sticky number plate tabs. I always use these instead of screws and other fixings

They do look good there Willbee. I was going to take some of mine in the sun but the Williams hasn't been washed in a few weeks!

Mine hasn't been driven for months, but it has scrubbed up well. with the 3 coats of blueberry flavoured wax on top, I can literally smell it from 20 metres away lol

i found these on ebay will be perfect for changing over plates only fit on the rear of the car though as the front of bumper is to narrow as i have just found out, but still looks good on the back :)
