Unfortunately I had a fuel line split on 0041 over the weekend.... It had become dislodged and was rubbing against the aux belt....

it is the hose nearest the cambelt that feeds into the injector rail....

now, what would you recommend to repair?? The split is about 20mm long so I could cut it out and repair or would you suggest replacing with a new hose as I am creating a weak point??

RPD however are quoting £72 for a new hose though......

Any advice would be appreciated.... Cheers.

Hi. Defo replace. I have re-routed my fuel lines using good quality fuel line, they now run around the other way. I had a 16v Clio many years ago that nearly went up in flames! It is a really bad design passing fuel lines past the belt, IMO.
