The last few times I've drove the car I've noticed that the gears werent as smooth as normal and when I accelerate then let off there seams to been a lot off movement in the gear stick. Doing a search on here seams to point towards the gearbox dog mount?i had a look and the mount which looks old. Where's the best place to get one?is it best to stay genuine from rpd or get one off eBay/local motor factors?cheers Paul.

Go for a power flex one mate. You use the standard mount and have these fitted into it. Makes a big difference IMO.

Been looking at power flex on eBay or k tec racing are doing a offer on them so going to order one tomo. I removed the old off the car today and there's load of play in the
larger end.

LOL!

I've got the yellow compound fitted to my Williams also had it fitted to my 172. One of the best mods to do IMO.
