Hi, I have a Megane Coupe Rally car with an ex works F7R/P engine on Jenveys . DTA S40 ECU, race tech dash etc etc.

Car is still undergoing a major refresh, but its getting there slowly.... Joined up here to have a nose around and try to learn a bit more about the williams engines etc.

A couple of pics when i first got it....

Very Cool indeed!!

More details got an engine spec?

The engine was built by Cupissol Moteurs in France http://www.cupissol-moteurs.com/en/societe.asp

The engine was used by Team RCA who's main driver was the spanish Tarmac champion Membrado. I have been informed by Cupissol, that this particular engine is from a Maxi Megane and SHOULD be about 265hp. It last went back to Cupissol in 2009 for a refresh. Since then, it has had the throttle bodies and DTA ecu fitted by John Reid Race Engines where it was also mapped, but i dont have the figures.
Once i have completed my re wire etc, i will be taking it for some tuning and a dyno run, hopefully in the next couple of months.

Wow. Welcome and nice car! With anything near 265bhp in it it must fly! I've got a race tech dash in mine too but so far haven't got around to configure all its many settings! Do you have the indicator tell tales, parking brake light all wired up and working through the dash, or have they skipped that since it is just going to be used on track?

All the tell tales will be wired up. For rallying, the car has to have a valid MOT. The dta ecu is connected to the race tech dash via can-bus, so oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, revs, tps, air intake temp etc all get sent via the data link.
The car has a hydraulic handbrake so a sympathetic MOT tester will be required.
