freds wheel refurb, anyone up for a group buy?

if enough of us are up for this im sure we could get a good discount. im pretty sure he has a courier pick up your wheels and leaves u a set to run about on until he sends them back by courier. can we get this organised?

I think that's a bit unfair of you Fred as only a small minority of people on here have actually said anything negative about your refurbs, personally I think they look good and would definitely be interested in the future and I'm sure many other people on here would like to use your services, but if you can afford to turn work away then that's up to you...

i think that in the long-run your only shooting yourself in the foot! all this will cost u is a few wheel refurbs which no doubt u make a profit off... i am going to get mine refurbed, not by u, not because ur work is shit, far from it, from what ive seen the williams wheels u have done are excellent.... i just live too far away for u to do mine, which is a shame otherwise i wud have u do it allready. but i think that for those ppl who want a wheel refurb u shud allow them whatever discount as they werent the ones that moaned at u. just my opinion of course

I don't think people who run a business should turn anybody away, especially if they are going to make a profit.

Who is this guy anyway, he spits his dummy at the whole club cos a handful of people have said a few negative things about his refurbs?

I have budgeted for a refurb next month and I was seriously considering using this guy as I'm impressed by the pics I've seen, not anymore I will be using Proclean.

put it this way, i make £40 for every set of willy wheels I do, the hassle envolved ain't worth while IMO

cost to me is £180, cost to you lot is £220 (unfair you think???)

hassle as in travelling to pick up/drop off wheels, change wheels over etc etc (which i don't, nor ever will charge for, i aim to keep cost as low as possible for you lot, but if you take into account my personal costs, my realistic profit ain't much on willy wheels!!!)

yes i do this anyway, but the profit margin i make on say a set of 17inch wheels is MUCH more worthwhile

all i tried to do was aim to supply you lot with a half decent refurb, i make sod all out of it, its not in my interest to make silly profit margins

if anyone wants their wheels doing, then fine no problem
