Have had quite a busy weekend with the Clio, I've painted the rear calipers the same colour as the fronts. I'll spare you the photos.

Whilst each wheel was I went about looking for the water leak which leaves the carpet under the passenger seat absolutely sodden. Well I fixed it with a little help from Ed China :D

I was watching Wheeler Dealers and he was trying to locate a leak on an AM DB7 and he quite geniously used a smoke machine inside the car to see where it was escaping, therefore that will be where the water comes in (Ed China video is here for those interested http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGirjqyrMcY). I happened upon a smoke machine purely by chance and I borrowed one from a mate who had used it last year for Halloween. Another bonus was that it was strawberry scented!

So off I went to collect it, and here it is

Plugged it in, switched it on, stuck it on the parcel shelf, shut boot. (you can just about see the aforementioned leak on the below pic, there is a tiny bit of smoke just below the white sticker on the 3/4 window)

Found one leak on the rear 3/4 window which I fixed with some gasket sealant and also this curious event

I went about adjusting the boot but to no avail. The seal on the car looked fine so I am going to order some heavy duty foam to put around the inside of the bootlid to make a tighter seal.

And this was the fun part, letting the smoke escape
