exhaust

Hi all I'm thinking that my exhaust is a bit to loud and so wanting to change it. I was tempted to put a standard one on but would it loose much power at all?
What advice would you give?

not sure about the power side but i am am a strong believer in std items as especially these cars were were designed for power and speed
am running on a std system and it sounds spot on
how many times do you look up at a loud sound to see some P*** going down the road in a focus with a bucket exhaust!!!
i go down the road at high revs and the petrol heads looks at the car "listen" and grin with a knowing smile
Now thats how it should be!!!!

Yeah fair comment. Where would be the best place to get one from and how much expect to pay?

not sure if you can buy them new
i would keep n eye on ebay i've seen them on there

Anything from cat back barely makes any difference with power to tell the truth so you won't lose anything going back to standard which is better as most of the aftermarket stuff does make it a lot louder
