Hello
The central locking receiver in my car was dripped on and corroded and a previous owner, rather than just unplug it when they put in a very expensive alarm it has taken hours to remove, cut the plug off.
I've got a new receiver, and found a plug that fits, but the Haynes manual shows red black orange and brown wires going to pins 1,2,4,6, and the wires I found were red, black pink and white and I've no way of knowing which end of the socket is pin 1!
If anybody is fiddling around up there I'd be really grateful for any information you have on the actual wiring of this plug.
Many thanks if you can
