The mass of the earth is around 5.9742 x 10 24 kilograms or:

6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 or 6 million trillion kilograms.

The average person weighs 70 kg's.

5 billion people therefore weigh 350 billion kg's


So basically even if everyone in the world jumped on the same spot at the same time, it would make less of an impact than Chesney Hawks follow up single.

Baring in mind that comets that hit the earth weigh billion of kilograms and are travelling at 1000's of miles per hour, are able to whipe out entire species, yet still are not able to alter the Earths orbit, it is highly unlikely that a load of internet freaks reading a 'lets jump on the world' chain main are likely to be able to.
