So how does the GTI6 compare to the Williams all round?

tbh mate im not sure yet only had it a day :) but i do like it alot.nice inside alot smoother than the willy and id say maybe a little quicker over 60...dont think its as quick to 60 doesnt throw u back in ya seat like the williams did.i also think its alot less tiring to drive williams seem to always be hard work where as this seem effortless, 6th gear is awsome.thehandling is superb its lowered 40mm though and on 17(which i kerb 1 badly 5 mins after buying it )

thing is though since driving the williams i been driving a 1.4 golf and a curtesy car fiesta fusion so anything feels good in comparsion.

heres a pic what do u think of it???

haha, blue. Get some Williams stickers on it

Looks nice but those wheels have to be killing performance.

Nice one mate...I'm jealous. Told you they were good :P

As Stromba says, get rid of those wheels and put some standard cyclones back on. Perhaps refurbished anthracite ones?

I know what you mean about the lack of serious go from a standing start. To get a good launch, you have to be at about 5,000 and side step the clutch. Managed a 6.09 at the Trax 0-60 sprint thing in mine, though I think the timing lights were out slightly! Long first gear good for hairpins too....it'll go into first at about 20mph if you blip the throttle.

i like those wheels on the gti6, think they look very nice! although they look deceptivley small, i wouldnt have said they were 17's more like 16's! very nice car tho....i was tempted by getting a gti-6 but decided on williams as i thought they were quite steep for a low mileage one
