OK, my rebuild has got well underway this weekend...

Spent most of the day doing...

Removing the gearbox, removing the clutch, removing the flywheel and then FINALLY the crank and big ends. - undoing god knows how many bolts, lost count... some were right bastards lol... looking forward to putting it back

Anyway... thought, as the flywheel is out, why not lighten it? Is it worth doing... know it makes it "rev quicker" and the pickup is a bit better... but is it one of the things you would bother doing, and also... any suggestions to where would do it, and cost? my crank has been sent away for regrinding, was going to ask them if they do it.

Got quoted £77 for regrind £29 for "crack test" (sounded dodgey to me, i said i hadn't taken anything BOOM BOOM........tumble weed), and then £80 for new shells. Sound about right?
