Stage1

30 Nm + Angle Tighten by 50 deg +/- 4 deg
Then Wait for 5 minutes

Stage2

Loosen all bolts completly
25 Nm + Angle tighten by 108 deg +/- 3 deg

Ignore Autodata its a pain in the ass some times

it didn't use an F7R from 99ish, they'd switched to the IDE and the F4R by then. There's loads of data that's mixed up between the 3 engines. Autodata tells lies

Its says Megane F7R 99 on, Only thing i have seen different is that the Willy Hgasket has red sealer on it and the Megane has a green sealer / bead. Engines arent that different as far as im aware.

I just use stage 2 on what matts posted that's it, always done me fine on F7 series

it wont be any different for a meggy to a willy F7R I wouldn't of thought and people mix n match the heads/ bottom ends anyway!

Headgaskets use different sealer on the Megane vs the Williams one from Renault.

I have fitted an MLS on this engine but just say torque the manufactures recomendations........

sealer??? you mean the material of the gasket itself?

to be fair either way it'll be fine at the standard F7P stage 2 sequence, that's what I used as mentioned on the turbo lump with a none standard gasket and it held fine, it was the block that let go :-(

There is a bead of sealant around the water ways on the gasket, its red on a Willy gasket and green on a Megane.

yes. but it was also an IDE and an F4R. They've got the data mixed up between engines
