Hi, I'm Trav.Previously been into 80s and 90s Vauxhalls, recently sold my 260bhp Cavalier Turbo 4x4, and looking for something different.I fancied something smaller, as I now have a modern car to fulfil the daily driver role, and so the next toy car can be just that, a toy!I had a good think and I just cannot currently think of a better option for what I am after than a nice Williams, which brings me here.....So you will most likely find me lurking about, reading up on here for a while, until I find the one I want!

Unfortunately it ended up stripped - the guy that bought it decided it was worth more in bits! I expect the engine is now in a corsa or some such deathtrap. 269bhp, 320lb/ft will tear a corsa to pieces! Hell, it used to spin all 4 wheels with ease in the Cav!

Anyway, hopefully soon a Williams Clio will be providing my kicks!

Very clean is that. I like a clean car

It was clean considering the use it got, it did polish up well.

I was putting 20psi+ through the standard bottom end, putting 25-30k miles a year on it and it never put a foot wrong. Give it an oil change every 5k and it just kept going! As happy cruising at 80mph in 6th as it was embarrassing Porsches on a generic A road. I like the sleeper aspect of it as nobody expects a Cavalier to be that quick! 8) I had it for almost 3 years and it had 189k on the clocks when I sold it!

The problem was the underside getting crusty, as I'm sure you Clio owners will be able to relate to!

Onwards and upwards!
