oil pressure

Hello all, I have an issue with oil pressure, started car a few days ago oil warning light and ignition light stayed on, switch off restart all ok
yesterday started car oil pressure gauge went straight to max, after 30 secs drops to normal, a third to half way on gauge at idle, done the same thing again today.
Car drives fine, no burning oil smell or smoke, oil level on dipstick and oil level gauge as it should be I suspect oil pressure switch/sender any ideas, thanks,

The gauge lies, just ignore it, you only need to be concerned if the oil warning light comes on :winkey:
