Hello gents
I'm trying to find some data so I can do a diagnostic check of the wiring at the ecu (http://www.renaultforums.co.uk/autolink.php?id=7&forumid=17&script=showthread).
(ohms resistance readings of the various sensors and voltage figures again for the variuos sensors, etc Throttle Position Sensor, engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, crank position and so on) I've only managed to find one resource 'cliowilliams.com' after a quick look on here that looks like it would have the data I'm looking for, but it's post by Fabulicious (Bonjour mate!) and I don't understand french. Is there anywhere else this data is available?
I appreciate any help.
The willy is mechanically solid. Starts and idles but as soon as you give her any gas she mucks about, over fuels, stalls at a standstill (normally at a junction which is real helpful) and generally not happy.
Have diagnostic instructions for my other car (cossie) so hope that it is available for the clio as well.
Cheers for reading
Judd

Forgot to add. it has been plugged in to a 'code reader' but after a few minutes of hearing a few relays clicking away under the dash, the reader displayed 'cannot communicate with ecu (http://www.renaultforums.co.uk/autolink.php?id=7&forumid=17&script=showthread)' I know there is an issue with it somewhere but need the figures, ecu (http://www.renaultforums.co.uk/autolink.php?id=7&forumid=17&script=showthread) terminal numbers etc to be able to find the rogue wiring.
Again I greatly appreciate any help in locating the info.

How do you know it overfuels?

Sounds to me like a TPS, CTS or ECU fail.

Hello mate. Thanks for replying.
After it has run and been driven, if you whip the plugs out they are soaked with unused fuel.
My thoughts were a CTS failure, but a fresh one has been tried and it made no difference. Also a different TPS gave no change. Haven't had another williams ecu available to try. Have a 1800 valver ecu but I don't think it is the same so didn't want to just chuck it on.
That's why I am after the specs for testing the ecu wiring as, if it isn't the sensors themselves, then maybe the wiring going to or away from them is at fault.
