morning all.. after having changed my steering column over.. i have now realised that my clutch cable is/has moved.. as you look at the engine from the from it comes from the left hand side of the steering rack rubber boot..over the rack and has been resting on the spring gasket part of the manifold/downpipe.. which is causing the rubber to get disfigured.. before going its usual way round to the box.. my questions to you all is.. should it be behind the steering column and appear from the right hand side or should it come out the way it is and be attached up behind the heatshield? hopefully ur imaginations are good as i yet to get any decent pics to show what i mean..
Cheers for your time!!8)

from front of the engine should come down on left of the column and then bend under and behind it to clip to the rear of the subframe on a small plate attached above the dogbone bracket. then round and up to inner side of the passenger chassis rail inder battery tray :-)
