That's a very crisp heatshield! (And everything else too.)

stunning is that. Whats the history of the car mate ???

if you have not done so already make sure it is insured on a agreed valuation cover.

Ayli - Thanks :)
Northy - I'll put up some history when I get a bit more time, but as far as insurance value goes I've recently put it under an agreed valuation of £15,000

This car is still alive and kicking with me and is used very infrequently (think I've covered just over 700 miles in the last 13 years... )

Wow...that really is low usage.

53 miles a year is only 2 proper warm up runs...lol.

I thought my owner was bad enough but we had a bumper year between mot's of 608 miles..hehe.

MOT completed this week - pass with no advisories. I also treated it to a full major service at a Renault dealer (all fluids and cambelt etc...).
Need to use it a little more this year!

Very good... I need the cambelt done on mine... if you don't mind me asking how much was it and who did it for you. Were you happy with the care they took of your car?

Hi Ian,

It was at the main dealer of Suttons Garage in Tarleton near Preston. Paul was the chap in the workshop who did the work. It had a major service while it was in and, along with an MOT and new header tank, it cost just north of £800. There might be an independent garage who could do the work cheaper, but Suttons have serviced it in the past and so I was happy to send it there again. Paul who did the service has also been there for more than 20 years and serviced my car back in the very early 2000's.

He was very careful with the car, so I was quite happy 8-)
