I can't see why it would not be used as a daily, I get 300 mls to a tank and that's around 33 mpg so why not?

last time i filled the tank in my williams it was £40 tops...dread to think what it would take now!

I filled the tank at the weekend. I put in £50. Re-filled again to £40 and got left with half a tank. That was about 350 miles.

If I still had mine I would still use it everyday without fail.

In my opinion they need to be used all the time - On the odd occasion I didn't use mine (holidays abroad, trips away) it shat it's dummy for several days afterwards!

The Megane will swallow £72 from near empty - and I'm averaging 22.6 MPG these days

hmmm..with the trophy, and the van...and 1 of them now gone...altho possibly being replaced by another pretty soon, ...the 1 i have left has not been on the road since '09. that will change soon tho...none of my cars is a daily, but weekend fun and shennanigans are where they get the use.

Part of my reasoning was £55 fill up and 280miles from the tank, about 5 times a month.

mine spends most of the time in the garage but comes out for a clean and a quick blast when the weather is dry
oh and filled up ready for fcs with under a quarter of a tank and it cost me £50

325 miles on a motorway run and the light comes on but never run it out to see how much further she'll go. But not so good on short runs at all!
