Hi all, Im new to all these Clio's but i have a williams 1 And just got a Quote for £1500.... What a Joke

They Class it as IG18 (fair)

I had a Tunned 200sx S14 (IG18) that is much Quicker and Dangerous and Was paying a grand. Im 21 with a years no claims. Are they Raping me...

Help. or the Williams May never see the road... :roll:

Williams is group 17 mate :shock: Your insuring its exclusivity too but should fimd it a tad cheaper surely.

The weird thing is I was paying more to insure a 2.5 V6 mondeo than to insure the Willy. The Mondeo was only group 15 where as the williams is 17, weird eh :?

im paying £900 tpft, fc = £1150. however nxt yr all going well £800 fc, £600tpft

those prices r nuthin!!!......im 19 and on my dads insurence im payin 2600 a yr :shock:

but its worth it :P

iv tryd bout 30 - 40 insurers no word of lie.....

hopefully it will cum down abit wen im 20 in november!

if not might sell it n get a valver :( cuz its rinsin my money! :cry:

Mines £400 fully comp in France and I have had a clean licence for 27 years. The sad thing is no airbags, no abs, if you have a bad crash its usually serious for the driver and passengers...hence the high group...when 4 wheels are not far off a grand it aint ant great surprise that premiums are high......a T5 is cheaper to insure coz you will probably walk away

Mine was £1.1k a year that was using all my 3 yrs NCB on the car so my other car had to go without which means I was paying £800 on that.

1700 FC for a valver for me, 19 passed my test 4 months ago

898 FC for the clio i have now but i took the 1st quote i was given with shitty norwich union

Was 28 this year.
I was very surprised as it cost about £550 last year, Cav TD insurance is down to £190 tpft as well.

They'l rip you of on a williams or 16v for some reason as i found out for the 2 years of insuring.....My insurance with 2 1/2 years drivin exp a years nc's and no points or crashes to my name is just short 1300 tpft at 20!!!

I have just this past week got a quote with the same company im insured with for next june (il be 21 with another years nc's fingures crossed) on a Z3M Coupe for 1080 fully comprehensive!!!

What would i rather be paying silly insurance money on, a 3.2 321bhp rare as fook well bulit monster or a Clio that breaks all the time.........Umm its a tough one!!!

My mates just had the same.......He was insuring his mk2 Clio rsi 1.6 for summin like £800 and he has just bought a 225 tt and insured it for just over a k at 20!!!

paying £420 on my willy3 with the girlfriend on it as well fully comp i am with privalige...... best quote i could get :D 29 by the way
